GoGirls Entrepreneurship Program
President
Mt. Holyoke
The GoGirls Entrepreneurship Program, a summer course for high school aged young women, was piloted in 2016. Since then, the program has become an open-source initiative to encourage college students to create entrepreneurship programs within their communities. The GoGirls Program aims to close the summer enrichment gap, increase access to entrepreneurship education to underrepresented populations, and create a community of learners and practitioners in entrepreneurship. Additionally, entrepreneurship education has been shown to increase social-emotional wellbeing among women and girls, and strengthen skill and success in Math and English classes among high schoolers.
